'Char Kway Teow! One of Singapore\'s most loved street food delicacies, this noodle-based recipe is a no-miss one pot wonder for all you non-veg lovers out there. So, follow Chef Harsh Garg as he shares his secrets to a yummy bowl of Char Kway Teow! Ingredients required to make Char Kway Teow: 150g flat rice noodles Vegetable oil 1 tsp shrimp paste 150g chicken breast, thinly sliced 3 eggs, beaten ¼ cup mushrooms, quartered ¼ cup tofu, cubed ¼ cup spring onion greens, sliced 3 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp light soy sauce 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp oyster sauce How to make Char Kway Teow: 1) In a bowl, mix together the dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sugar, and oyster sauce. Set aside. 2) Prepare the noodles as per the package instructions and set aside. 3) Heat a wok on high heat and add in 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add the shrimp paste and sauté for about 30 seconds. Then add in the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. 4) Add the mushrooms and tofu and sauté for another minute. 5) Now add the noodles and toss everything well. 6) Add in the beaten eggs and incorporate them with the noodles so that they stick to everything. 7) Then add in the sauce that you have prepared in step 1.
